Vieuxtemps Violin Concerto No. 5

Sienna Wang-Vieuxtemps Violin Concerto No. 5

Autumn has arrived, and the night has become cool. Now nothing tastes better than a piece of red wine dark chocolate cherry cake after dinner.

And the taste is what I feel when I listen to the Violin Concerto No. 5 by Henri Vieuxtemps.

The first movement starts with the beautiful and intriguing melodies played by the orchestra. Like the darkness of chocolate, it attracts people at the first moment, and makes us intrigued. Then after the tremolo, the moment when we have the first bite of the chocolate cake, the bitterness drags us all to the infinity of music and makes us immerse in the melodies.

Then the sounds of the orchestra overwhelm, like the rich flavor of the chocolate in the mouth, the taste is irresistible and obsessive.

When the sound of the orchestra fades, the violin begins the lingering melody. It’s the taste of the wine-soaked cherry in the cake, which is intense and fascinating.

Then the emotional and enchanting music created by the violin makes us tipsy. The vigor of the orchestra arouses the passion of the violin. The violin grabs our hearts through endless music.

It never lets us go. It advances our nerves, fiddles our breaths and provokes our senses with its restless melodies. It’s the rich flavor of the chocolate cherry cake. The taste is so strong that we can not resist, and so beautiful that we can only indulge.

The second movement is Adagio. The insolent violin now becomes tender. The melody sounds like the aroma of the wine-soaked cherry chocolate lingering in our mouth. It is emotional and romantic. At this moment, our old memories are like the alcoholic taste, spreading and diverging in our body.

Then the violin is excited again.

Now it’s the fervent third movement. The violin is the sparks on the night land. The sparks shine and dazzle our eyes. When there are sparks all over the darkness, with the orchestra, the violin ignites a prairie fire.

Tonight, I swallow the fire. Suddenly, the strong alcoholic smell and the fruity taste of the wine-soaked cherry chocolate cake burn in the throat. It burns, and keeps burning.
