When I first knew Chaumet, its signature tiara shaped rings deeply attracted me. Besides its appearance, the elegant and delicate designs tell a story of historical romance, skillful craftsmanship and French charm.
當我第一次認識 Chaumet 這個品牌，便被她皇冠般的外型深深吸引。她優雅精緻的設計訴說了一個由歷史、工藝、法式風格組成的愛情故事。
Chaumet was the jeweler of Napoleon and his queen Joséphine. The great love between Napoleon Bonaparte and his queen Joséphine de Beauharnais has always been one of the most intriguing stories in history. The young commander Napoleon madly fell in love with Joséphine, and claimed her as the queen when he became the king. Moreover, the painting at the Louvre “The Coronation of Napoleon” depicted this scene, and kept this great love for the offspring.
If Napoleon created victories in wars and battles, then Joséphine created beauty in art and jewelries. As the queens’ jeweler, Chaumet saw Queen Joséphine as muse and had created jewelry for her. Even nowadays, these beautiful jewels still inspire people, and pass down her love and legacy.
Chaumet 原是拿破崙與其妻子約瑟芬的珠寶師傅，他的作品記錄了拿破崙與約瑟芬之間的愛，同時也是歷史上最讓人津津樂道的愛情故事。當時年輕氣盛的拿破崙瘋狂的愛上約瑟芬，並將她加冕為后，羅浮宮的畫作 “拿破崙的加冕”便記錄了這歷史性的一刻。
若是拿破崙創造勝利，約瑟芬則是創造美麗。身為皇后的珠寶工匠，Chaumet 將約瑟芬視做繆思，並為她設計一系列的珠寶。時至今日，這些作品依然美得震懾人心，同時紀念且傳承了這份感情。
The royal blue little box keeps the symbol of love between the king and the queen. Inside the box is the ring box. Then open the buckle, there is the ring of Chaumet Joséphine Aigrette.
