After a long summer, autumn is finally here! I always enjoy the weather of autumn and winter when I can wear layers, sweaters, scarves, and have a cup of hot chocolate.
As for my makeup, I also tend to wear darker colors for eyeshadows such as dark brown (which I think is the best color for my black eyes), sometimes to match the sweater I wear, I use some purple or burgundy red.
Let me share with you my favorite eyeshadow palettes in this enjoyable season.
MILANI Eyeshadow Palette: Most Loved Mattes
I like MILANI Eyeshadow Palette: Most Loved Mattes because it has three different color tones: brown, purple and maple.
This palette has also made the colors of the same tone in the same column which is easy to recognize. The matte colors look pretty and elegant. And these colors are easy to apply from the lightest color to the darkest. I like to use the brown tone for daily makeup. I think brown color fits my everyday occasions very well.
Sometimes when I am going to a concert or have dinner with friends at night, I will use the purple tone to match the dress I wear. The purple tone looks beautiful at night, and I love to wear it to an artistic event such as a concert.
And for the maple tone, I usually use it on the weekend when I have brunch or afternoon tea date with friends. This is a similar tone with the brown, but more eye catching and with the sense of autumn. I think this is a seasonal and essential color for autumn.
ZOEVA COCOA BLEND
ZOEVA COCOA BLEND is another palette I love in autumn. Again, I like earthy tone colors for everyday makeup, and adding on some seasonal colors. This ZOEVA cocoa blend palette is mostly brown tone with some caramel and red colors for a perfect autumn blend! For daily use, I will apply Better Start as base, Substitute For Love on the eyelid, and use Beans Are White on the eyeliner and outer corner. This look is still my favorite earthy tone, but with some caramel color such as Substitute For Love or freshly Toasted, the look has become more autumn and warm. And if I have a dinner date, I will apply the Sweeter End with Delicate Acidity to lighten up my eyes at night.
CANMAKE Perfect Multi Eyes 04 Classic Pink
This small palette CANMAKE Perfect Multi Eyes 04 Classic Pink is pinkish grey to purple. Since I like to wear purple and grey in autumn to winter, this palette is really easy to match with my style. This series of CANMAKE palette contains five gradual colors of the tone which are easy to blend and make the look from day to night. I like to use the lightest color as base, with some light purple on eyelid and the dark grey as liner color. And at night, I will use the whole five colors to make a more subtle and chic look.
